South Sydney High School
South Sydney High School has installed a large 80kW solar power system with the help of the Solar my School program; the largest system on a public high school in Sydney’s East. The project was passionately spearheaded by a senior student, James Grimshaw for a Year 10 Geography project, with the support of his teachers.
The school received part funding from Clovelly Community Bank and NSW Department of Education to help finance the renewable energy system.
