Over the years Solar my School have work closely with various organisations to make solar happen for schools. We would like to recognise and thank the following organisations:
We partnered with Sydney Catholic Schools to share resources, information and co-ordinate the rollout of solar to 152 schools in their network, which includes 18 Catholic Schools in the Eastern Suburbs. Sydney Catholic Schools were on track to complete their rollout by the end of 2023. 1.4 Megawatts were installed on eastern suburbs’ Catholic schools through this program.
Purryburry Trust was established in 2011 to support environmental projects. The Trust has funded various projects over the years from habitat protection and restoration to species recovery and climate initiatives. The Trust has been a vital funding partner providing nearly half a million dollars to install 1.5 Megawatts of solar power at 38 Public schools in NSW.
SolarBuddy is a global impact organisation uniting a global community to illuminate the futures of children living in energy poverty. We have proudly worked with SolarBuddy over the years to deliver empowering educational programs whereby students learn about energy poverty, global citizenship and how innovative design can make a global impact. The students assembled solar lights and wrote letters which were then gifted to children living in energy poverty on their behalf – over 1,000 lights have been gifted.
The Australia Climate Action Fund (ACAF) is a non-profit fund dedicated to tackling climate change. They finance new and innovative projects across the country to reduce Australia’s carbon footprint and secure a better future for the next generation. We are grateful to the ACAF members supporting Roseville Public School to install 53kW for a brighter cleaner future.
We were a proud service provider for Ausgrid’s Power2U program that encouraged customers in Sydney to adopt renewable energy and efficiency measures. As part of Ausgrid’s efforts to help its customers save on bills by accessing innovative demand management energy solutions like solar, this partnership supported 11 Public schools install 436kW of solar power.
